Not too many people know that my great-grandfather was a French professor at the turn of the 20th century at City College in New York. My paternal grandmother was quite proud of her French heritage. Though I never been there it feels like an important part of who I am.
I hope one day to visit the city of lights. As I grow older, my bucket list seems to grow in length every year! I remember back in high school a french teacher told the story of her year in Paris on a French pastry diet- eating three french pastries a day; and losing weight!
French cooking, the sights, music and the stories are at our fingertips here at GPL!
