Did you know that June is National Rose Month? When you think of roses what comes to mind? Weddings and romance are in the air! Careful what color you select for your sweetheart. The list of what the different rose colors represent is long! Just a few examples – red – love, pink – grace, and orange – enthusiasm.
It is fascinating to learn that 54% of the land in Ecuador is filled with roses. Rose petals are edible and actually are a great source of vitamin C. The tallest rose bush on record is over 23 feet and the oldest living rose is believed to be 1,000 years old. There are over 100 species of roses.
The Juliet Rose stands out from the crowd for taking 15 years and five million dollars to breed.
