We are having a wonderfully busy Summer at the library!
Over 500 children are currently participating in the Summer Reading program and Teens have submitted more than 250 reviews of books they have read (evidence that teenagers still enjoy reading!).
Our Café a las Siete programs on Tuesday evenings have continued to entertain audiences with music from South and Central America, while our informational programs help community members learn how to do everything from maintaining their automobiles and starting a business to reading the night sky and creating a musical band.
In the middle of all of our activities, you may have noticed that we are rearranging our non-fiction collection on the second floor in order to make it a more welcoming and comfortable space to browse and read. Be sure to ask for help finding what you are looking for, since the location of many items in this area has shifted. We are hoping to have the project completed by early Fall. Thanks for your patience.
And remember – the library is a great place to stay cool during the dog days of Summer!
