The Friends of the Greenburgh Library supports, advocates for, and strengthens the library by fostering public awareness of its purpose and needs as an institution of life-long learning.
The Friends of the Greenburgh Library are not currently accepting donations. The annual book sale is taking place the weekend of Friday, September 15, 2017. The hours of the book sale are below. The Friends will begin accepted donations again starting Monday, October 2, 2017.
Annual Book Sale:
Friday, September 15, 2017 – Member Preview Night (You may become a member at the door.)
3:00 – 7:00 p.m.
Saturday, September 16, 2017 – 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Sunday, September 17, 2017 – 1:00 – 4:30 p.m.
Monday, September 18, 2017 – 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
*ORGANIZES and runs a book store in the library lobby and a major book sale each October
*FUNDS and Supports library programs for adults, teens and children
*SUPPORTS library staff enrichment and recognition
*FUNDS major equipment purchases
*PROVIDES opportunities for young people to earn community service credits
