Lunch-in-the-Library
and TED Talks:
Ideas Worth Spreading

First Friday of the Month on June 7th
1:00 pm to 2:00 pm


The Lunch-in-the-Library and TED Talks program is an opportunity for members of our community to get together and share a lunch and discuss interesting current topics of the day provided by TED Talks: Ideas Worth Spreading (Technology, Education and Design). This months Ted Talk Feature Presenters:
Author: Laura Snyder "The Philosophical Breakfast Club" How 1833 became the spark of British advancement in science.
Researcher: Anupam Mishra of the Gandhi Peace Foundation "The Ancient Ingenuity of Water Harvesting."
Chairman: Fahad Al-Attiya of Qatar "A Country With No Water."
Bring a bag lunch, watch a 20 minute TED lecture and discuss the interesting ideas presented. Light refreshments will be served.
